The Valhalla Cup (pictured here with Valkyrie Ivanka) is up for grabs again.
The Valhalla Cup 2001 to be held at the beautiful Gold Coast of QLD.
The dates for this years competition are:
Friday 23rd February, 2001
until
Sunday 25th February, 2001
The organisers are staying for an extra days worth of relaxation, feel free to join us if you feel you need some further R&R after the rigours of competition. Late entries are fine, but you can organise your own air fares and accommodation. VP Porker has arranged thus :
The event will be played over 2 - 3 days and is open to all friends of Bignoze Enterprises. Contest conditions will be specified over dinner at the end of the first days play. The transport to the event is likely to be something like a rented Tarago plus a support convertible to pull any stray schoolies.
A South Australian team led by Mark Haydn has completely dogged it this year. If ever we hold a Dingo Cup they are welcome to join us with their tails firmly wedged between their buttocks. It's not just all of Mark's golfing mates who have been tainted by his withdrawal, but I think the entire state of South Australia should hang it's head in shame at this dreadful turn about in the state's golfing fortunes.
A sledging competition will also be held over the weekend with the best 200 insults being forwarded to Mark's email.
These are some of the short listed courses, though we expect to be across a lot of other issues (eg. SS) as well during the course of the weekend.
These links are for your information only, it’s likely that the VP and his War Lord Jake of the Hairy Breeks will decide the final attack.
Cost will be about $????.?? which will include 2 - 3 games of golf, 3 nights accommodation, 2 breakfasts etc. Other on costs will be Tarago hire and beer and wine purchases which means the weekend will top out at about $2,200 each.
Please return email your interest and availability for the event. If you are interested in competing but the weekends of the 3rd and 12th February are unsatisfactory please suggest an alternative date.
